Largest Car Wash Acquisition Transactions

As of March 2026, financial details regarding most car wash transactions remain largely undisclosed. However, the largest known transaction by scale in the car wash industry is Whistle Express’s acquisition of 383 sites from Driven Brands Holdings. While financial terms have not been publicly released, the sheer size of this acquisition makes it the most significant transaction in the industry to date.

Previously, one of the most notable transactions was Oaktree Capital Management’s investment in Magnolia Wash Holdings, which included 118 locations. Although financial details were also not disclosed, that deal was widely regarded as one of the highest-value transactions at the time due to its scale.
