Accelerated Brands Acquires Trademark Carwash

Accelerated Brands has completed its acquisition of rapidly-growing Trademark Car Wash, whose 14 currently open locations specialize in fast, thorough service using environmentally friendly products and water reclamation. Accelerated Brands is known for the Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change franchise.

Miguel Prendes, who has been named president of Accelerated Brands’ Car Wash Operations, is tasked with supervising development of 22 new Trademark Car Wash locations in Arizona, New Mexico, New York, Tennessee and Texas. The company has announced plans to expand throughout the United States. Prendes said he looks forward to increasing the footprint of Accelerated Brands. Prendes formerly had served as senior vice president of operations for ModWash. Trademark’s executive team also includes Daniel Vallejo, regional vice president, and Texas Area Manager Jim Nelson.

Trademark Car Wash founder Andrew Goldberger said he’s “lucky to have the opportunity to work with an all-star team” at Accelerated Brands and Strickland. “Merging our washes into this thriving platform was the easiest decision of my life,” Goldberger added.

Strickland CEO Justin Strickland welcomed Trademark Car Wash to the Accelerated Brands family, calling it “a good match” and said he foresees “significant growth and success.” The Strickland Brothers franchise offers drive-through service with no appointment required at its 122 locations. Strickland Brothers recently was named to the Inc. 5000 list, which ranks companies based on their revenue growth rate.

Accelerated Brands has support from Princeton Equity Group, (“Princeton”) a private equity firm that invests in franchises and multi-unit companies.
