Washville Car Wash was founded in 2019 with a mission to scale a brand using affordability and customer convenience as their main driving factors. With 9 locations and another 20 in development, Washville has a presence on Long Island, where the brand started, as well as Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. In order to further expand its footprint, Washville purchased Fast Eddie’s Car Wash with the help of the team at Car Wash Advisory, increasing the service area of Washville Car Wash to Augusta and Brunswick, Maine.
Ed Goff, owner of Fast Eddie’s made the decision to sell in 2020 due to the growing saturation in their market of rural Maine. Goff made “the best phone call [he] has ever made” when he reached out to Harry Caruso, CEO of Car Wash Advisory. The team at Car Wash Advisory compiled a list of 30 potential buyers for Goff’s consideration, and Washville made the first fair bid. Michael Parker, CEO of Washville, said that the acquisition process was made easy and seamless thanks to the efforts of Car Wash Advisory, and went on to explain “We had a superb experience working with Car Wash Advisory on the Fast Eddie’s acquisition. We found the process to be well-organized and thorough. That preparation allowed the transaction to move from auction to due diligence to close in a short timeframe. The process Car Wash Advisory ran gave us comfort on what a fair offer was while also building trust between the two parties.”
